  27. Q. What is it?
  28. A. Printer's Apprentice is a font management utility for the Windows
  29.    3.1 operating environment. It helps you manage all your TrueType
  30.    and Adobe Type 1 fonts by printing inventory sheets (3 flavors!),
  31.    ANSI charts, keyboard layouts, and specimen sheets. It was noted
  32.    as the *BEST* Windows font utility by PC Magazine (10/27/92) and 
  33.    features one of the sharpest interfaces around.

  35. Q. So... What's New with 5.5?
  36. A. Printer's Apprentice has been built with a faster compiler,
  37.    works better with TrueType, has a sharper interface, faster
  38.    loading and printing, and two new font inventory sheets.

  40. Q. How do I install this program real quick?
  41. A. Unzip the PA55.ZIP to a new diskette or directory and run
  42.    INSTALL.EXE. This will decompress the files and copy them
  43.    to the right places on your hard drive.

  45. Q. How do I remove the program if I need more space on my machine?
  46. A. 1) Remove the contents of your PA directory
  47.    2) Remove the following files from your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory:
  48.       3dLABEL.VBX
  49.       CMDIALOG.VBX
  50.       SS3D2.VBX
  51.       THREED.VBX
  52.       KEYSTAT.VBX
  53.       PICCLIP.VBX

  55.    3) Remove the Printer's Apprentice icon from your Program Manager
  56.       groups.

  58. Q. What happened to the documentation file?
  59. A. Everything has been placed in a Windows help file. Just click
  60.    the Help menu item or the question mark icons...

  62. Q. Is this program still shareware?
  63. A. Yes! Yes! Yes! This software has been in development for a long
  64.    time... Please take the time to compensate the author. Send a check
  65.    for $20 ($25 foreign) payable to Lose Your Mind Development at the above
  66.    address.

  68. Q. What is the upgrade policy?
  69. A. When you register, I will send you a code and a certificate. Upon release
  70.    of major upgrades, I will notify you with a post card. The cost of
  71.    duplication and mailing has gotten out of hand, so upgrades will cost
  72.    a nominal $5 if you need a new diskette. Or you can wait to find the
  73.    program on a local BBS. The codeword will always work for future 
  74.    editions.

  77. A. Yes! I am always open to suggestions! This software is made for
  78.    anyone who cares about type. Designers, DTPers, layout artists,
  79.    print shops, publishers, etc, this sofware is for you. If you have
  80.    any suggestions, spec sheet ideas, interface notes, let me know.
